She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald "Jud" Frye and Betty L. Frye (Dawkins); her husband Donald N. Dean; and her sons, Travis Judd Dean and Justin Dean.

She is survived by: her daughter Kristin Sue Halfhide of Concordia, KS; her siblings, Jim Frye (Joyce) of Apopka, FL, Scott Frye (Kim), Cathy Clark (Bud) of The Villages, FL and Nancy Kessler (Alan); her daughter-in-law Angela Decoster of Chanute, KS; her grandchildren, Zachary Dean (Kayla), Mikaela Dean (Shane), Kaylee Halfhide and Aivree Halfhide; and her great grandchildren, Weston Dean and Adrian Halfhide-Sterling. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
