She was predeceased by: her husband Marvin Petersen; her parents, Victor Speelman and Mary Speelman; and her brother James Speelman (Marvin Petersen). She is survived by: her children, Emilie Petersen of Wichita, KS and Nelsen Petersen of Superior, NE; her granddaughters, Greta Dee (Sam) of Chicago, IL and Sara Petersen of Wichita, KS; her brother Joseph Speelman (Sheryl) of The Woodlands, TX; and her siblings-in-law, Albert Peterson (Evelyn) of Eau Clair, WI, Calvin Petersen of Webster, WI, Chlorn Petersen of Chippewa Falls, WI, Dorsey Petersen (Andrea) of Ellsworth, WI, Wilkie Petersen (Rita) of Webster, WI and Effie Petersen of Marion, NC. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions can be made to the Concordia First United Methodist Church or the Frank Carlson Library.
