He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Skeels and Lydia Skeels (Mooberry); his wife Rosalita Skeels; his siblings, Kenton Skeels and Karen Fakler; and his siblings-in-law, Wilbert, Leonard, Albert, Justin, Galen Rottinghaus and Dorothy Fangman.
He is survived by: his children, DeAnn Romberger (Richard) of Abilene, KS, David Skeels (Nikki) of Shawnee, KS, Douglas Skeels of Concordia, KS and Dana Santos (Marcus) of Littleton, CO; and his siblings-in-law, Roy Fakler, Elmer Rottinghaus (Nancy), Regis Rottinghaus, Arlene Skeels, MaryAnn Dressman and Millie Heinen. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
