He was predeceased by : his parents, Allen Copple and Clema Copple (Alderson); and his sister Patsy Brown Zimmerman Appleby. He is survived by : his wife Ronalda Cote of Concordia, KS; his children, Ronald Copple (Stacey), Michael Copple (Dianne) of Wichita, KS, Mark Copple (Virginia) of Concordia, KS, Cheryl Lanoue (Donald) of Concordia, KS and Darryl Dean Copple (ReJeanna) of Concordia, KS; his grandchildren, Angela Collins (Ron) of Wamego, KS, Travis Chartier (Shaela), Anna Moore (Curtis), Jesse Copple of Abilene, KS, Robyn Brooks, Bobbie VandenBroeder of Concordia, KS, Miranda Housh (Alan) of Glen Elder, KS, Micheala, Kaleb, Kole, Gage Copple of Wichita, KS, Breann Bruce (Perry) of Owasso, OK, Chanse Copple of Concordia, KS, Nikki Rethman (Ethan), Seneca, Courtney Zimmer (Shane) of Olathe, KS, Nicole Knox (Matt), Logan Copple (Cesilee) of Belleville, KS, Jeffrey Peeler (Caitlin), Josh Peeler (Jenny) of Atwood, IL, James Peeler (Kandice) of Carro Gordo, IL and Jeannie Copple of Abilene, KS; his sisters, Beverly Thoman and Joan Olson (Doug) of Concordia, KS; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Davidson of Concordia, KS. He is also survived by 35 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home (325 W 6th St, Concordia, KS 66901). A Mass was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (307 E 5th St, Concordia, KS 66901).

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the St. Concordia Cemetery Fund or Meadowlark Hospice in care of the funeral home.
