Melinda Trecek Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melinda Trecek of Concordia, Kansas, who passed away on February 25, 2026, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Vladimer Wolfe (Vladie); her brother Bradley Wolfe; her father-in-law David Trecek; and her sister-in-law Amanda Trecek. She is survived by: her mother Arlene Wolfe (Jorgensen) of Hays; her husband Bret; her daughters, Lauren Trecek of Manhattan, Katelyn Trecek of Salina and Shea Trecek of Lovewell, Kansas.; her mother-in-law Marilyn Trecek of Agenda; her brother Curtis Wolfe of Hays; her brother-in-law Kevin Trecek of Agenda; her sister Debra Michels of Hays; her sisters-in-law, Angela Becker (Jason) of Herington and Melinda Wolfe of Minneapolis; and her friend Lanette Zenger-Schmidt. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
