It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosalie Catherine (Rose) Maginness of Concordia, Kansas, who passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Maginness; her parents, Edward Gasper and Alfreda Gasper; and her siblings, Eugene Gasper and Judy Gasper.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Johnson of Wellington, Colorado, Pamela Pianalto (Maurice) of Wasilla, Alaska and Paula Roegge (Stuart) of Concordia; her grandchildren, Alexandria Puderbaugh of Junction City, Catherine Mills (Steven) of Richmond, Virginia, Dusty Pianalto (Anna) of Wasilla, Evan Johnson (Kealila) of Colorado Springs, Maci Johnson of Wellington and Charles Roegge of Concordia; her great grandchildren, Catherine, Talitha, Aletheia and James Pianalto; and her siblings, Edward Gasper (Dianne) of Victoria, Madonna Duffy of Tipton, Lee Gasper of Tipton, Alan Gasper of Marquette, Neal Gasper (Judy) of Tipton, Glennen Gasper (Patsy) of Wichita, Annette Muths (Lyle) of Tipton and Regina Bryant (Bud) of Halstead. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home (325 W 6th St, Concordia, KS 66901). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (307 E 5th St, Concordia, KS 66901).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Boniface Catholic Church of Tipton Endowment Fund or Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church of Concordia.
