We bid farewell to Virginia Eileen Wilson (Concordia, Kansas), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 24, 2025 at the age of 105. Virginia touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd H. Reed and Bernice Russell Reed; her husband Wayne R. Wilson; her daughter Linda Matheny; her granddaughter Amanda Wilson; and her brothers, Russell and Darrell Reed.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra (Steve Britt) of Carrabelle, FL and Edwin Wilson of Concordia, KS; her grandchildren, Allison Gonzalez and Ethan Wilson of Concordia; her great grandchild Brooklynn Velez; her grandson Zachery Campbell; her sister Joan D. Ross of Omaha, NE; and her brother-in-law Don Wilson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, numerous relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Nutter Mortuary (116 E 6th St, Concordia, KS 66901). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials are suggested to the Pawnee Indian Museum State Historic Site, Republic, KS.
