He was predeceased by : his parents, Charley Ruben Riggs and Ethel Viola Riggs (Gibson); his son Norman Ray Riggs; his siblings, Ralph Riggs, Charles Riggs and Mary Jane Light; and his daughter-in-law Lorie Riggs.
He is survived by : his wife Doris Riggs; his son Scott Riggs of Wellington; his grandsons, Cody Riggs (Alicia), Jessie (Marvin Magdangal) and Jarod Riggs (Tristan); and his great grandchildren, Avery, Gideon and Liam. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
A memorial has been established to the First Christian Church, Conway Springs, KS.
