Frances E. Chitwood Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frances E. Chitwood (Conway Springs, Kansas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 3, 2025 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Frances E. Chitwood to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glyn Williams and Mildred Williams (Watkins); her husband Melvin Francis Chitwood; her brothers, Thomas Williams and Robert Williams; and her grandson Jordan Pelling.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Chitwood (Margareta) of Mayfield, Kansas, Diane Miller (Ed) of Conway Springs, Kansas, Janet Pelling (Stan) of Michigantown, Indiana and Lisa Ast (Cecil) of Conway Springs, Kansas. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ebersole Mortuary (219 Spring Ave, Conway Springs, KS 67031). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Conway Springs Cemetery.
A memorial has been established to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.
