The family announces the passing of Jimmy D. Wise of Conway Springs, Kansas on September 1, 2026. Jimmy, born on March 3, 1935, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Wise and Marie Langston; his brother Doyle Strate; and his son Kevin Wise. He is survived by: his daughter Jill Mechem (Geoff) of Wichita, Kansas; his daughter-in-law Janice Wise of Conway Springs, Kansas; his grandchildren, Amanda Wise, Candace Wolke (Mike), Marcus Mechem (Juvie) and Travis Mechem (Sara); and his great grandchildren, Jera, Micah, Caven Wolke and Hadley Howard. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ebersole Mortuary (219 Spring Ave, Conway Springs, KS 67031). A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Conway Springs Cemetery.
Memorial has been established to Conway Springs Volunteer Fire Department.
