She is survived by : her children, George Mies (Kris) of Cheney, Kansas, Sharon Billups (Ed) of Conway Springs, Kansas and Charleen Mies of Wellington, Kansas; and her siblings, Meryle Junker of Roggen, Dean Junker of Lakewood, Colorado, Elura Burdine of Rockledge, Florida and Sandra Brown of Prior Lake, Minnesota. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.

A rosary was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (411 S 8th St, Conway Springs, KS 67031). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
