He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Joseph Seiwert and Agnes Elizabeth Seiwert (Peitz); and his sister Evelyn Jennings. He is survived by: his family, Jesse Rowden of Wichita, Kansas, Katie Casner of Wichita, Kansas and Maggie Seiwert of Wichita, Kansas; his sisters, Joyce Pinkley of Wichita, Kansas, Mary McNutt of Wichita, Kansas, Ruth Redding of Lee's Summit, Missouri, Jan Carter of Olathe, Kansas and Debbie Halsey of Phoenix; and his pet Wilson.

A rosary will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (217 6th St, Conway Springs, KS 67031). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.

A memorial has been established to the St Joseph Altar Society.
