He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Michael Ternes and Frieda Rose Ternes (Ast); and his siblings, Harlan Ternes, Thomas Ternes, Janet Bagwell and Karen Struble.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Ternes (Brown); his children, Zach Ternes, Abby Tarrant (Trevor) of Conway Springs, KS and Lexi Ternes of Conway Springs, KS; his siblings, Philip Ternes (Pam) of Dexter, MO, Allen Ternes (Pat) of Wichita, KS, Tony Ternes (Anne) of Conway Springs, KS, Connie Foster of Goddard, KS, Joyce Brown (Don) of Wichita, KS and Tina Chase of Dexter, MO; his siblings-in-law, Gayle Ternes of Tulsa, OK, Judy Ternes of Wichita, KS and Vic Struble of Conway Springs, KS; and his grandchildren, Thea and Knox Tarrant. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
