She was predeceased by: her parents, William Mininger and Elizabeth Mininger (Peters); her former husband Frank Buerge; and her husband Vernon Nichols. She is survived by: her brother Don (Gretta); her sisters-in-law, Barb Mininger of Almena, WI and LaFreda Mininger of Barron, WI; her sibling's children, Buerge (family: Bonita, Kurt Hagemeister), Jason of Greeley, CO, Debra of Greeley, CO, RoseAnne of Greeley, CO and David Sather of Greeley, CO; and her grandchildren, Nichols (family: Rachel, Larry Unruh), Ron of Geiger, AL, Camilla of Geiger, AL, Alan of Geiger, AL, LeAnne of Geiger, AL, Clark of Geiger, AL, Judy of Geiger, AL, DeeAnn of Geiger, AL, Steve Koehn of Geiger, AL, Bob of Geiger, AL and Jana of Geiger, AL. She is also survived by children and grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Salem Mennonite Church (116 Somer Dr, Copeland, KS 67837). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Sharon Springs Cemetery.
