It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jay Everett Ward (Cottonwood Falls, Kansas), who passed away on April 25, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Ward and Dorothy M. Ward (Lawrence); his brother-in-law Norman Dale Coe; his nephews, Tony Taylor and Norman Dale Coe Jr.; and his niece Jamie Lynn Ward.
He is survived by: his sisters, Charlene Lawrence of Wichita, Mary Beck of Duncan, OK and Sue Cress (Brandon) of Pittsburg; and his uncle Vernon Lawrence of Kaiser, MO. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
