She was predeceased by: her parents, Milferd Dunham and Helen Dunham; and her husband Ray Nielsen. She is survived by: her son Mike Nielsen; her grandchildren, Stephanie, Sierra and Maraya; and her siblings, Robert Dunham, Kay Higgs and Darrel Dunham. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Sawyer Funeral Home (137 N Union St, Council Grove, KS 66846). A burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at the Americus Cemetery (700 Rd 245, Americus, KS 66835).
