She was predeceased by : her parents, Homer Allen Christiason and Lucille Irene Christiason (Davis); her husband Jimmie Masters; and her siblings, Marlene Shepard, Phyllis Doll (Wheel), Jerry, Robert, Richard and Mike Christiason.

She is survived by : her son David Alan Venable (Peggy) of Houston, TX; her sister Rita Christiason of Osage City, KS; and her grandchildren, Lauren Mitro, Rowyn Smith, Danielle Hostettler, Emily Williams, Ayla Allinson and Darian Venable. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 7th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home (503 S Topeka Ave, Burlingame, KS 66413). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 8th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Federated Church of Burlingame (322 S Topeka Ave, Burlingame, KS 66413). A burial was held on Monday, April 8th 2024 at the Sunny Slope Cemetery (1394 Old Hwy 4, Council Grove, KS 66846).
