He was predeceased by : his grandparents, John, Rose Turkovich, Robert and Irene Dixson; his parents, Peter Turkovic and Audrey Turkovic; and his uncle John Newland.

He is survived by : his former life partner Marilyn Luebbert; his son Michael; his daughter-in-law Tyndol; his siblings, George (Michelle), Tom Turkovic and Carolyn Culp (Frank); his grandchildren, Christian and Kalea; his nieces and nephews, Audrey Sullivan (Matt), Rachel Saluri (Jimmy), Becky Turkovic, Lizzie Buchman, Johnny Muller, Ben Turkovic and Andrew Maiden (Amanda); his aunt Ann Klienert; and his cousins, George Klienert and Marshal Newland.

The family would like memorials to go toward the AWANA's.
