She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Mossman Landon and Theo Cobb Landon; her family, John, Linda, Richard and William; her children, Richard and Linda; her brother Jack; and her half-sister Peggy Mills (Howard Baker).
She is survived by: her friend Betty Carmean; her pet Shop; her former husband Phil Kassebaum; her husband Howard H. Baker of Tennessee; her sons, Bill (Jennifer) and John (Sandra); her stepchildren, Cissy and Darek Baker (Karen); her grandchildren, Kristian (Lucy), Margot, Theo, Elsa, Eliza (Austin), Philip and Nellie (Austin); and her nieces, Barbie Byers, Mary Weil (David) and Mary Henderson (Jeff). She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
Nancy committed significant attention to organizations across Kansas throughout her life, including the Kansas 4-H Foundation and the Capper Foundation. In lieu of flowers, please consider a charitable gift to these organizations in Nancy's honor.
