We are sad to announce that on March 17, 2024, at the age of 88, Joe E. Chizek (Cuba, Kansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph E. Sr. Chizek and Florence Chizek (Fulcomer). He is survived by : his children, Tammy Wickstrum (Mike) of Cuba, Kathleen Steinle (Brad) of Talmo, Lisa Pierce (Clint) of Augusta, Kan and David Chizek (Stacey) of Manhattan; his grandchildren, Kelly Steinle (Joseph Bergkamp) of Wichita, Katie Fisher (Tate) of Kansas City, Brian Steinle (Becca) of Douglass and Megan Spilker (Trent) of Harbine, Nebraska; his great grandchildren, Harlie, Maggie, Sammie, Dade, Avery, Dani and Riley; his sisters, Marilyn Abel of Cuba and Cecelia Seachord of Wymore; his spouse Dee; his sister Rosalie Marie; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Abel and Harold Seachord. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and a community of friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Cuba Booster Club or to the family to be designated at a later date, and may be sent to Tibbetts-Fischer Funeral Home, PO Box 566, Belleville, Kansas, 66935.
