He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Venard and Hazel Venard (Keith). He is survived by: his wife Gladys Venard (Simon); his son Don Venard (Cynthia) of Dodge City; his grandchildren, Eric Venard (Trista) of Dodge City, Jacki Venard, Dale Deneault of Concordia, Kansas, Kathy Falcon (Pat) of Dodge City, Megan Welsh (Keith) of Dodge City, Chris Venard of Dodge City, Cedric Venard and Courtney Thomas of Mill Creek, Washington.; his sister Bonnie (Gary Strodtman); his sister-in-law Ann Venard; his siblings, Helen Venard, Betty Hauser, Harold Venard and John Venard; his grandsons, Joshua Dewayne Venard and Jeremy Joe Venard; and his great grandchild Taylor Rayne Bonner. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, one great-great grandson.
Memorials are suggested to American Red Cross in care of the funeral home.
