He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry Edward and Betty Gelvin (Martin); the mother of his children Melanie; his wife Anna F. Gelvin; and his brother Larry Gelvin Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Gary Gelvin Jr. (Denise), Cynthia A. Gelvin and Teresa Page; and his brothers, Doyle Gelvin (Diane) and Jim Gelvin (Doris). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
