She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus E. Adkins and Juanita E. Adkins; her husband Clay Daniel Lash (Dan); her daughter Melissa Ross; and her sisters, Donna Jones and Linda Scroggins.

She is survived by: her sister Carol Byrd; her daughters, Lisa Moylan (Mark) and Danell Lash (Will Lacy); her grandchildren, Audrey Mochal (Dylan), Jeremy Davidson, Elizabeth Moylan, Cameron Davidson and DaRon Lash; and her great grandchildren, Jane Mochal and Theodore Mochal. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
