We are sad to announce that, on May 14, 2026, at the age of 88, Wanda L. Cowan (De Soto, Kansas), born in Clarksville, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Wanda leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orlan Hardin and Lois Pauline Hardin (Sexton); and her sister Betty Mottwiler. She is survived by: her husband John Cowan; and her children, Gary Cowan, Randy Cowan (Melissa) and Sandra Peterson (Kirt). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
