As LaVon departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though LaVon may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy LaVon leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Chickadonz and Vinetta Chickadonz (Brown). She is survived by: her sister Judy Thompson (Roy) of Parsons; and her sibling's children, Brenda Risner (Jeff) of Kansas City, MO, Rebecca Thompson of Shawnee and Bradley Thompson (Kelly) of Meridian, MS. She is also survived by nine great nephews and nieces.
Memorials are suggested to the Dennis United Methodist Church.
