He was predeceased by: his parents, Laverne Modesitt and Marguerite Modesitt (Bayless); his sister Phyllis Modesitt; and his siblings-in-law, Stanley Stitt and Donna Modesitt.
He is survived by: his children, Travis Modesitt (Kate) of Oswego and Peggy Hoisington (Matthew) of Parsons; his grandchildren, Kerri Hall (Adam), Lee Modesitt (Bridget), Adrienne Wilson (Nate), Kye Hoisington and Blake Modesitt; and his siblings, Phil Modesitt and Katherine Stitt.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Brown-Bishop, VFW Post 704 or Dennis United Methodist Church.
