He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Basye and Joyce Basye (Mathews). He is survived by: his daughters, Katey Basye (Josh Gonzalez) of Sacramento, California, Addie Brown (Tane) of Cascade, Colorado and Amanda Mauro (Joe) of Las Vegas, Nevada.; his grandchildren, Eleanor, Astra, Athena, Harrison and Genevieve; his brothers, Steve Basye (Vickie) of Hoisington and Doug Basye (Linda) of Great Bend; and his sibling-in-law Jan McKee of Derby.
