Though Cathy may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was loved and cherished by many people including sister, son, daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Derby Chapel (1415 N Rock Rd, Derby, KS 67037). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Smith Family Mortuary (1415 N Rock Rd, Derby, KS 67037).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Home Health and Hospice of Kansas, or Tanganyika Wildlife Park in Goddard, KS.
