She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross Davis and Gladys Davis (Hamilton); her brother Lawrence Davis; and her sons, Kevin, Kelly and Kirk.
She is survived by: her husband Galen Hinshaw; her daughter Karen Staley of Emporia; her daughter-in-law Caterina Hinshaw of Midway; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Brooks of Emporia, Travis Spires of Emporia and Lorissa Hinshaw of Wimberley, Texas; her great grandchildren, Althea and Cordelia Kelley of Emporia; her siblings, Viola Nelson of Russellville, Arkansas and Don Davis (Charlene) of Neosho, Missouri; and her siblings-in-law, Howard Nellis (Roselea) of Olathe and Oreta Burnham (Paul) of Rose Hill. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
