He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Niederee and Joyce Niederee. He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his children, Ben Niederee (Catie), Joe Niederee (Maura) and Amy Schierling (Eric); his grandchildren, Bridget, Frances, Nick, Maggie, Eileen and Paul; and his brothers, Mike Niederee (Laura), Bill Niederee (Robin), Tim Niederee (Laurie) and Mark Niederee (Myra).
Viewing will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Smith Family Mortuary (1415 N Rock Rd, Derby, KS 67037). Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (2300 E Meadowlark Rd, Derby, KS 67037). A rosary will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
