He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Trusty and Mildred Trusty; his daughter Kimberly Trusty; and his brother Earl Trusty. He is survived by: his children, Tanya Aaby (Theron) and Ron Trusty (Nikki); his sister Joyce Trusty; and his grandchildren, Trista Shain (Ian), Brittany Pfannenstiel (Dustin), Brendan Hutson, Konina Ables, Desirae Trusty, Christine Trusty and Kodah Trusty.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
