We announce the death of Gary L. Ball of Derby, Kansas, who passed away on August 20, 2026, at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his parents, Blanche Mae (Davis) and Henry Lorraine Ball; and his sister Joyce Ball. He is survived by: his wife Jeannie Ball (Jones); his children, Troy Ball, Tricia Ball, Tracie Austin and Nikki Stratton (Glenn); his grandchildren, Jared (Stacie), Josh, Jayden and Braden Stratton; and his great grandchildren, Stella, Brenton and Brody Austin.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Headley Funeral Chapel (813 State St, Augusta, KS 67010). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 at the Elmwood Cemetery (501 12th Ave, Augusta, KS 67010).
