He is survived by: his wife Donna; his sons, Steven Marten (Kirstie) and Dennis Marten (Kelly); his grandchildren, Joseph Marten (Tabitha), Sarah Marten, Benjamin Marten (Macy) and Shelby Suther (Riley); his great grandchildren, Genevieve, Blakely, Brayden, Brody, Arabella, Nash and John; and his sisters, Sandy Lyons and Janice Kamen.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Kansas Humane Society in John's memory.
