He is survived by: his wife Connie (Kinderknecht); his children, Tina Albers (Tom) of Hays, Todd Depperschmidt (Theresa) of Mansfield and Tracie Shelton (Brad) of Wichita, Kansas; his grandchildren, Mackenzie Neuhauser (Kris), Kord (Amber), Adyson, Brenlynn and Brogan Albers; his children, Olivia, Jacob, Jack, Alex Depperschmidt, Lakin, Lexie and Luke Shelton; his great grandchildren, Kolson, Blayke, Kambell and Paisyn; his brother Ken Depperschmidt (Diane); and his siblings-in-law, Norma Depperschmidt and Pat Waddell.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (2300 E Meadowlark Rd, Derby, KS 67037). A rosary was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the St Mary Catholic Church (2300 E Meadowlark Rd, Derby, KS 67037). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (2300 E Meadowlark Rd, Derby, KS 67037).
