We are sad to announce that on June 10, 2025, at the age of 97, Luther James Gaskell of Derby, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Garfield L. Gaskell and Lorena Gaskell (Owens); and his siblings, John Samuel, Paul Roy, David, Thomas Leonard, Olive Amsbury and Iva June Lancaster.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Kay Parker and Daniel Kent. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Neosho County Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Jim's name to Westview Southern Baptist Church or the Safari Museum.
