She was predeceased by: her father Roy Roach; her sisters, Virginia Williamson, Louise Myers and Wanda Cowell; and her husband Wesley Loman Sledge.
She is survived by: her mother Lydia Roach; her son Ronald Sledge (Ruth) of Hanford; and her grandchildren, Sharon McAhren (Stan) of Byers, Kansas., Kimber Leigh Johns, Marc Sledge, Scott Sledge, Travis McAhren, Serena Forrest and Colleen Smith. She is also survived by mother and homemaker for her children.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the American Legion Post 408 (120 E Washington St, Derby, KS 67037). The lying in state will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Smith Mortuary (1415 N Rock Rd, Derby, KS 67037). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Round Mound Cemetery.
A memorial has been established with Hilltop Manor Activity Fund, 403 S. Valley, Cunningham, KS 67035.
