She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Edward and Lockie Belle Heckart (Rogers); her husband James Rains (Jay); and her grandson Sami Ertebati. She is survived by: her children, Ellen "Lynn" Ertebati (Hassan), Arizona, Elizabeth "Beth" Gail Grizzle (James), James Bradley Rains and Paul Wesley Rains (Julie); and her brother Norman Edward Heckart. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
