It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Lee McCarty Jr. of DeSoto, Kansas, who passed away on February 25, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vivian Adeline Kalahar McCarty and Robert Lloyd McCarty. He is survived by: his children, Kelly Sue McCarty Sciachitano, Timothy Michael McCarty and Jennifer Kathleen McCarty Young. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
