It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia O'Brien of Dighton, Kansas, who passed away on May 2, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Maurice O'Brien; her sons, Maurie and Danny; and her parents, Eugene Shields and Margarite Shields.
She is survived by: her children, Gene, John, Tim and Kathleen Moorman (Steve); and her sister Judy Morrison. She is also survived by her family, including five grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, five step-great-grandchildren, and one great-great step-grandchild.
The family suggests memorial contributions to St. John The Baptist Cemetery, Lane County Library, or St. Theresa Catholic Church all in care of Boomhower Funeral Home.
