With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Cecilia Amaro Dominguez (Dodge City, Kansas), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Amaro and Margarita Amaro; and her parents-in-law, Juan Dominguez Quintana and Maria Fiereo (Cucutia). She is survived by: her husband Juan Dominguez; her siblings, Victor Amaro (Rhonda Amaro), Patricia Garduño (late Eddie Garduño), John Amaro (Brenda Amaro) and Arturo Amaro (Shelly Amaro); and her brother-in-law Donato Dominguez (Lila Kuri Dominguez). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Register Book Signing Ziegler Funeral Chapel (1901 N 14th Ave, Dodge City, KS 67801). A rosary was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe (3231 N 14th Ave, Dodge City, KS 67801). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe – Preparing a Place to help with the new school construction in Cecilia's memory.
