It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elfriede M. Whiteside of Dodge City, Kansas, who passed away on November 5, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, John Fruehbauer and Emily Fruehbauer (Hummer); her husband Rex Kenneth Holbrook Whiteside; her parents-in-law, Walter and Mary Whiteside; and her great grandchild Jackson Whiteside.

She is survived by : her sister-in-law Nadine Hales; her cousin Friederike Achleither; her children, Susan (Michael Hedgpeth), Dr. Gerald Whiteside (Susan Stuart) and Rex Kenneth Whiteside Jr. (Cheri); her grandchildren, Kayla Chiddix (Chuck), Jeremy Whiteside (Nicole) and Justin Whiteside (Jennifer); her sons, Kirstin Fleming (Brandon) and Aarin Hedgpeth; her stepgranddaughters, Jennifer, Erika, Hawley and Heather Naylor (Andrew); her great grandchildren, Will, Caroline, Jesse, Jamison, Mathew, Jensen, Brantley, Bryson, Grayson and Ryland; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Zyan, Lilli, Haley and Ryan.
