She was predeceased by : her parents, Clarence O. Vice and Mary Louise Vice (Hunter); and her sister Donna Farr. She is survived by : her husband Steve Hale; her daughter Ellen Powell; her siblings, Leroy Vice (Joan), Dale Vice (Nola) and Charlotte Blundell (John); and her grandchildren, Kirsten Powell and Devin Powell.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Grandchildren's Education Fund or Minneola SPED Paraprofessionals both in care of Minnis Mortuary, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
