We bid farewell to Fred E. Hornung of Dodge City, Kansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 24, 2025 at the age of 81. Fred touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clem Hornung and Helen Hornung (Heiland); his siblings, Reva Jean Hornung and Gerald "Jerry" Hornung; his siblings-in-law, Marvin Johnson, Les Barnett, Orville Brehm and Janet Hornung; his niece Marsha Johnson; and his nephew Jeffrey Stevens.

He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Ann Johnson of Dodge City, Sherry Nau (Don) of Dodge City and Theresa Barnett of Spearville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

Memorials are suggested to Arrowhead West or Windthorst Heritage in care of the funeral home.
