He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Geier and Rosa Geier (Billinger); and his siblings, Alex Geier, Jr., Rose Ann Minet, Greg Geier, Brian Geier and Karen Geier.
He is survived by: his wife Stana L. Simpson Geier; his sons, Nicholas Geier (Britta) and Matthew Geier (Jennifer Smith); his granddaughters, Greer Parkinson Geier and Rory Patterson Geier; his father-in-law Stanley Simpson (Pat); his brothers-in-law, Lou Minet, Trent Spikes and Mick McElhinney; his sibling's children, Cindy Minet, Wendy Minet, William Minet and Dilan Geier; and his nephew-in-law Kevin Gwaltney. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Book Signing Ziegler Funeral Chapel - Dodge City (1901 N 14th Ave, Dodge City, KS 67801). A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ziegler Funeral Chapel (1901 N 14th Ave, Dodge City, KS 67801).
