He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Geier and Rosa Geier (Billinger); and his siblings, Alex Geier, Jr., Rose Ann Minet, Greg Geier, Brian Geier and Karen Geier.
He is survived by: his wife Stana L. Simpson Geier; his sons, Nicholas Geier (Britta) and Matthew Geier (Jennifer Smith); his granddaughters, Greer Parkinson Geier and Rory Patterson Geier; his father-in-law Stanley Simpson (Pat); his brothers-in-law, Lou Minet, Trent Spikes and Mick McElhinney; his nieces and nephews, Cindy Minet, Wendy Minet, William Minet and Dilan Geier; and his nephew-in-law Kevin Gwaltney. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
The family suggests memorials to Hospice of the Prairie in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
