He was predeceased by : his parents, Grover Powell and Minnie Powell (Maloney); his son John Powell; and his siblings, Irene, Jim, Paul and Bill.
He is survived by : his wife Sue Alexander; his children, Janette Powell, Mike Adcock (Tina), Lorie Gottschalk (Ken), Wayne Carter (Shay) and Marti Krisle; and his brothers, Ray Powell and Junior Powell. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and one great grandson.
