As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Karon may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Melia and Mildred Melia; her children, Alan Robins, Wesley Robins and Kenda Robins; and her granddaughter Gabriella Rodriguez.
She is survived by: her husband Don; and her children, Niki Waldron (Chris) and Jilinda Rodriguez. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Swaim Funeral Chapel (1901 6th Ave, Dodge City, KS 67801). A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ford Cemetery (12631 Windy Rd, Ford, KS 67842).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
