He was predeceased by: his parents, Ezra Cox and Mary Cox (Davis); his wife Esther Tieben; and his siblings, Ruth Rubenich, Thomas Cox, George Cox and Otto Walters.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Cox of Dodge City, Ken Cox (Lisa Douglass) of Lenexa and Connie Adams (Jeff) of Beloit, Kansas; his grandchildren, Jordan Adams (Cierra), Jadon Adams, Jace Adams, Claire Haeusser (Jason) and Kate Cox; his great grandchildren, Ellie, Easton and Koe Adams; and his sisters, Gladys Woolwine (Bobby) and Mary Jo Schweitzer.
The family suggests memorials to AMBUCS of Dodge City or Salvation Army, both in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
