She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Stateler and Viola Stateler (Specht); her daughter Marca Berger; her siblings, Stan Stateler, Violeta Brander and Viola "Marie" Wattier; and her grandchildren, Maya McGregor and Destry Downey.
She is survived by: her husband Tom Downey; her children, Steve Downey (Gina) of Ford, Rick Downey (Melba) and Mendy McGregor (Roy) of Dodge City; her son-in-law Bruce Berger of Ensign; her grandchildren, Colton Downey (Kate), Cody Berger (Lacy), Taryn Berger (Cooper), Claire O'Hair (Aaron), Collin Berger, Ryan McGregor, Connor Berger (Sierra), McCoy Downey, Remington Downey and Myrick Downey; and her sister Vae Kreger (Jim) of Jetmore.
