With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sally Kerschen of Dodge City, Kansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted McKinley and Lucille McKinley (Jones); and her siblings, Phyllis Larson, Iris Gibbens and Teddy McKinley.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Kerschen of Dodge City, Kansas; her sons, Jason Flegler (Joely) of Tulsa, Oklahoma and John Flegler (Marnie) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Jacob, Lilly, Thomas Flegler, Olivia, Lucy and Maggie Flegler; and also John McKinley (Ramona) of Wichita, Kansas..
Visitation was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Swaim Funeral Chapel (1901 6th Ave, Dodge City, KS 67801). A vigil service was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe (3231 N 14th Ave, Dodge City, KS 67801). A burial was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery (120 N Valley St, Cunningham, KS 67035).
Memorials are suggested to the Ford County Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
