He was predeceased by: his parents, Cedric Cummings and Dorothy Cummings (Stephenson); his son Danny Ray; his brother Bill Cummings; his grandson Bernabe E. Rincon; and his nephew Lance Gatlin.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Moore; his children, Gary Cummings, Sabin Esquibel (Misty), Roger Winters, Chanda Hudson, Chelby Wilson (Christian Mondragon) and Shelly Winters; and his sister Lela Wright. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
